New Bruins Stars Already Thriving In Boston

The Boston Bruins made two big splashes in free agency this off-season, signing Elias Lindholm and Nikita Zadorov to long-term deals. With the team needing help both down the middle and on the left side of their defense, these signings naturally brought upon excitement when they were announced.

Now, Lindholm and Zadorov are already showing the Bruins precisely why they made the right call bringing them in.

Lindholm and Zadorov were significant reasons why the Bruins defeated the Montreal Canadiens by a 6-4 final score on Thursday (Oct. 10) night. Lindholm scored a goal and added two assists, while Zadorov had two helpers of his own.

Zadorov also played a big factor in Lindholm's goal. The hulking defenseman shot the puck from the point before Lindholm tipped it in for the goal. Seeing the new Bruins connect on a goal was simply great.

With his three-point night, Lindholm is currently tied for first in points with Jack Eichel, Ivan Barbashev, Dylan Guenther, and Jordan Kyrou. With Lindholm looking to have a big bounce-back season, starting the campaign like this is undoubtedly good. He is already forming great chemistry with David Pastrnak and Pavel Zacha.

As for Zadorov, he is providing some offense while maintaining his highly physical style of play. This is exactly what the Bruins want to see from the 6-foot-6 defender.

Nevertheless, it is excellent that both Zadorov and Lindholm are off to hot starts with the Bruins. It will be fun to see how well they perform for the rest of the season from here.
