Earlier this month, the Providence Bruins invited veteran forward Tyler Pitlick to their training camp. Now, the veteran forward will be sticking around longer, as he has signed a professional tryout (PTO) agreement with Providence.

Pitlick comes with plenty of experience, as he has played 10 seasons in the NHL. In 420 games split between the Edmonton Oilers, Dallas Stars, Philadelphia Flyers, Arizona Coyotes, Calgary Flames, Montreal Canadiens, St. Louis Blues, and New York Rangers, the 32-year-old has 56 goals, 109 points, and 836 hits.
Pitlick spent this past season with the Rangers, recording one goal, three assists, 84 hits, and a minus-6 rating. He also had three goals and four assists in 22 games with the Rangers' AHL affiliate, the Hartford Wolf Pack.
Pitlick will now look to impress Providence after landing this PTO. If he does, he could land a contract of some kind with the Bruins organization for the season.
