Bruins Place Interesting Forward On Waivers
The Boston Bruins have made a roster move, as they have placed forward Riley Tufte on waivers.

Tufte, 26, signed a one-year, $775,000 contract with the Bruins during this past off-season. This was after he had one goal, one assist, eight hits, and a minus-2 rating in five games with the Avalanche this past season. He also had 23 goals and 45 points in 67 games with the Colorado Eagles.
Tufte has primarily been scratched by the Bruins this season, appearing in just two games. During them, he recorded zero points, three hits, and a minus-1 rating.
Now, each team in the NHL can claim Tufte if they wish to. If he passes through waivers unclaimed, the 6-foot-6 forward will be sent down to the American Hockey League (AHL) to play for the Providence Bruins. We will need to wait and see what happens on that front from here.
