D’Onta Foreman, the new Cleveland Browns running back, suffered a neck injury during practice on Thursday, August 1. Foreman was immobilized and was taken by helicopter to the closest hospital in Roanoke, Virginia for medical evaluation. The team announced, “Foreman had movement in all his extremities. Updates will be provided as more information is received.”  Foreman was injured while practicing the new kickoff changes. The veteran took a hit to the head and complained of neck pains. Teams cannot be too careful when players suffer head and neck injuries. Mary Kay Cabot of the Cleveland Plain Dealer reported the Browns believe this to be precautionary.  Ideally, Foreman isn’t too badly banged up. He is a talented back with a rare size, strength, and speed blend. The Browns could use his skill to compensate for Nick Chubb, who will likely be out at the start of the season, or Kareem Hunt, as the short-yardage back.  Nyheim Hines
