Browns announce last-minute roster moves ahead of matchup vs. Bengals
The Cleveland Browns officially have star running back Nick Chubb back as they get set to take on the Cincinnati Bengals. He has officially been activated off of the Physically Unable to Perform list and added to the 53-man roster.
This was not the only move the Browns made with just one day to go until they search for their second win of the season. Will the return of Chubb be enough for the Browns to rally around each other and fight a way to fight back after a 1-5 start in 2024?
They will be without running back Jerome Ford, so they may need Chubb to carry the load in his first game back. He will split carries with D'Onta Foreman and Pierre Strong Jr. in this game. Safety Ronnie Hickman Jr. has also been ruled out in this game.
Here are all of the roster moves the Browns made ahead of their Week 7 matchup against the Bengals as they open up AFC North play:
Activate RB Nick Chubb off of PUP
Activate S Juan Thornhill off of PUP
Downgrade RB Nyheim Hines to OUT
Elevate WR Jaelon Darden from the Practice Squad to gameday roster
