Bradley Chubb, Jaelan Phillips open Dolphins training camp on physically unable to perform list

The Miami Dolphins made several roster moves Thursday as they prepare for the opening of training camp. Running back Salvon Ahmed was placed on the active/non-football injury list and linebackers Bradley Chubb, Cameron Goode and Jaelan Phillipsand offensive linemanIsaiah Wynnwent on the active/physically unable to perform list.

Edge rushers Chubb (knee) and Phillips (Achilles) continue to rehab from season-ending injuries and their placement on the PUP list was expected. While they will not be participating in camp at the start, they can be activated at any time. Their absence from the active roster also opens two spots for others who are trying to make the final roster.

The absence of Chubb and Phillips means veteran free agents Shaq Barrett and Calais Campbell will be getting plenty of snaps on the pass-rushing front as well as rookies Chop Robinson (first round) and Mo Kamara (fifth round).
