Bradley starting guard Connor Hickman is listed as day-to-day following an injury to his left ankle on Saturday.

The 6-foot-3 junior went down late in the second half of the 85-77 loss to Indiana State. His 19 points were a team-high, shooting 7-for-14 from the field, while adding three rebounds and three steals in 31 minutes.

Hickman is the team's second-leading scorer at 13.5 points a game.

He did not play Tuesday in the nonconference game against Akron. He was in a walking boot and on crutches. Sophomore Emarion Ellis started in Hickman's place and scored four points and grabbed five rebounds.

The Braves lost 67-52 and were outscored by 16 points in the second half. Hickman's presence as a shooter, secondary ballhandler and perimeter defender were all sorely missed.

“He’s one of our smartest players, one of our vocal leaders and he’s consistent and tough,” Bradley coach Brian Wardle said after the game. “And he’s probably our most physical player.

“So you lose a lot with Hick out, but that’s no excuse, we have to play better.”
