Boston’s Jrue Holiday reacts to the Celtics’ blowout loss to the Los Angeles Clippers
With the exception of star Boston Celtics forward Jayson Tatum, all of the Celtics’ starters laid an egg in epic fashion vs. the Los Angeles Clippers on Saturday at TD Garden. Veteran Boston guard Jrue Holiday took some time to talk to the media postgame, and opened up on his thinking about the Celtics’ substandard play against the NBA’s best ball clubs.
“Our performance against the league’s best has been a real eye-opener,” said Holiday of Boston’s flops against teams like Los Angeles, the Milwaukee Bucks, and the Denver Nuggets via CLNS Media. “It shows where we stand and the work we need to do.”
“It’s about learning from these games and improving,” he added. The UCLA alum put up just 7 points, 3 rebounds, 4 assists, and a steal in 28 minutes of floor time, going 2-of-11 from the field and 1-of-7 from 3.
“Every match against such high-caliber teams is a test, and we’re focused on growing from each experience,” suggested Holiday.
