On the Boston Celtics surviving a late Miami Heat run to win 110-106

The Boston Celtics survived a late Miami Heat run to win 110-106 on the road, and Jayson Tatum’s balanced offensive game is a big part of the reason why. In a game marred by injury to multiple Heat players and without star forward Jimmy Butler, the tilt had all the hallmarks of a Celtics trap game.

But Boston came correct and gave a solid effort on both ends of the ball, Tatum electing to give the game what it needs over trying to put the team on his back, opening up the flow for Boston as well. While it may not have been the prettiest win, a victory it was, the Celtics sweeping the Heat the season after Miami eliminated them from the Eastern Conference Finals.

The hosts of the CLNS Media “How Bout Them Celtics!” podcast weighed in on the win on a recent episode.

Check it out above to hear what they had to say.
