The Boston Celtics suffered a disappointing overtime loss to the Minnesota Timberwolves on the road this past Monday. The game highlighted several areas where the Celtics need to improve in order to find success in the future.

One of the glaring weaknesses the Celtics displayed was their lack of defensive intensity. The Timberwolves were able to score too easily, and the Celtics struggled to contain them. This loss should serve as a wake-up call for the team to focus on their defensive efforts and communicate better on the court.  Offensively, the Celtics struggled to find a rhythm. Their ball movement was stagnant, and they settled for contested shots unlike what they have created for themselves in their tilts prior to this loss.
