Boston Celtics, Denver Nuggets at the top of NBC Sports’ power rankings
The final 2023 NBA preseason power rankings have been released ahead of the league’s 2023-24 season, and the Boston Celtics and Denver Nuggets are leading the way at the start of the coming campaign according to the folks at NBC Sports.
The rankings reflect the Nuggets’ status as the defending champs, but also the major moves made over the course of the offseason by a Celtics organization with eyes to hang Banner 18 at the end of this season, After Boston added not only star big man Kristaps Porzingis and All-Star point guard Jrue Holiday to their roster since the end of the 2023 postseason, it makes all the sense in the world for the Celtics to be held in such high regard.
