Bloomington South grad, Bradley transfer Connor Hickman will visit IU, Cincinnati
Former Bloomington South standout guard Connor Hickman plans to visit Indiana on Sunday.
The 6-3 Hickman missed his senior season at Bloomington South due to injury but was a teammate of IndyStar Mr. Basketball Anthony Leal as a junior on the 2019-20 Bloomington South team that was 26-0 and ranked No. 1 in the state before the tournament was canceled.

Hickman played three seasons at Bradley, averaging 14.5 points and shooting 40.2% (74-for-184) from the 3-point line last season as a junior as he earned third team All-Missouri Valley Conference honors. He averaged 3.4 rebounds, 2.9 assists and 1.2 steals per game for Bradley, which went 23-12 last season.
In three seasons combined at Bradley, Hickman was a 37.3% 3-point shooter.
Hickman’s father, Ted, said Connor will follow the IU visit with a trip to Cincinnati on Monday. There is a connection there, too, as Cincinnati assistant and recruiting coordinator Drew Adams coached at Bradley for seven seasons prior to coming to the Bearcats’ staff in 2022.
Bradley lost 74-57 at Cincinnati in the second round of the NIT last month.
Washington State transfer Myles Rice, a point guard with three years of eligibility, is reportedly visiting Indiana this weekend. Rice, the Pac-12 Freshman of the Year last season, averaged 14.8 points and 3.8 assists last season. Travis Branham, a recruiting analyst for 247Sports, placed a crystal ball projection on Thursday that Rice would commit to IU.
