Ronda Rousey teams up with The Rock, judo tosses Triple H at WrestleMania 31
SANTA CLARA, Calif. — Ronda Rousey loves professional wrestling.
The undefeated UFC’s women’s bantamweight champion has been in the front row of WWE pay-per-view’s in the past and been known to attend Pro Wrestling Guerrilla shows — a local independent wrestling promotion based in Southern California — with her Four Horsewomen (Jessamyn Duke, Shayna Baszler and Marina Shafir).
On Sunday at WrestleMania 31, Rousey had a new tag team partner in The Rock. The “Furious 7” stars took part in a segment with Triple H and Stephanie McMahon in front of record-setting crowd of 76,796 fans at Levi’s Stadium. The Rock interrupted a segment where Triple H and Stephanie McMahon were berating the crowd. McMahon eventually got so fed up that she slapped The Rock in the face and was told to leave the ring. Before The Rock went to the back, he does a lap around ringside and comes across Rousey, who jumped the barrier to chants of “Ronda’s going to kill you” and followed The Rock in the ring.
“The Rock would never hit a woman,” he told the crowd. “But I have a very good friend would be happy to.”
Following a verbal confrontation, Triple H and The Rock got physical — setting up for Rousey to clear Triple H from the ring with a judo toss and putting McMahon in a version of the arm bar.
Besides the movie connection, The Rock and Rousey also share the same agent, according to MMAFighting.com:
Rousey and The Rock are indeed friends, too. They share the same agent, Brad Slater of William Morris Endeavor.
According to Slater, Rousey's Wrestlemania appearance had been in the works for months, however, he said it was unclear whether she will actually compete in a future match.
"I've told you many times how I work with Dana [White]," Slater told MMAFighting.com's Ariel Helwani in regards to whether the UFC knew about Rousey's involvement in the show. "I always, always call him and make sure he is OK with anything we ever do in movies, television and otherwise."
And as for White, he was taking in the WrestleMania show from London:

Could we see a mixed tag match at WrestleMania 32 between The Rock and Rousey vs. McMahon and Triple H in front of what could be 80,000-plus fans at AT&T Stadium in Dallas?
Never say never in the world of professional wrestling.
