Philippe Coutinho may have scored the best goal of the Premier League season
Sunday's crucial matchup of Premier League top-four hopefuls between Southampton and Liverpool had kicked off and, after just 17 seconds, the game was engulfed in controversy when Filip Juricic went down in the 18-yard box after Reds defender Emre Can made contact. Referee Kevin Friend did not award a penalty to the Saints.

But then two minutes later, the story from St. Mary's Stadium became Philippe Coutinho and his right foot.
Out of nowhere, the Liverpool midfielder unleashed a rocket from about 30 yards into the top corner to give the Reds a 1-0 lead. The wonder strike was the Brazilian's third league goal this season and it just might be the best goal of the Premier League season so far.

But is Coutinho's goal better than Andrea Pirlo's 30-yard match winner for Juventus on Friday? Judge for yourself.
