Donovan, who will retire from the game at the conclusion of this MLS season, will wear the captain's armband for the U.S. and play about 30 minutes as he prepares to make one last playoff run with the LA Galaxy. He will be looking to end his international career on a positive note after his controversial exclusion from the World Cup squad last summer. There probably won't be a tearful embrace between him and manager Jurgen Klinsmann, but the fans in Connecticut will give Donovan more than enough love themselves.
