President Obama gets Stanley Cup popcorn machine during Blackhawks visit
Back in July we featured one of the coolest items ever found in the NHL store: a replica Stanley Cup popcorn maker.
It's perfect. Not only can you display a mini replica Stanley Cup in your house -- and also use it to drink vodka soda and beer out of -- but as you're watching the game, the thing can also make you a big bowl of popcorn to nosh on.
It's a great gift, which is why when the Chicago Blackhawks visited the White House on Monday they not only brought the real Stanley Cup to President Barack Obama again, they also gave him the one that pops popcorn.

Upon arrival at the White House the Blackhawks were feted with an exclusive opportunity to mingle through several rooms in the East Wing, including a few that look out onto the South Lawn and one that has a view of the Rose Garden. They took pictures and marveled at the history.
The President greeted the Blackhawks, shook their hands and received a Stanley Cup replica popcorn maker as a gift prior to delivering his remarks.
The Blackhawks, like many previous Cup champions, gave the president a personalized jersey, but considering the Commander-in-Chief already has a "OBAMA 44" red one from their conquest in 2010, the additional gift is quite the bonus.
We imagine the president making heavy use of the Cup popcorn machine as he sits in front of his White House lounge television watching all those Blackhawks games this season. Maybe one day he'll finally take a trip down the block to Verizon Center and catch one in person?
