Three Mississippi State players, including quarterback Dak Prescott, were assaulted by a group of random people while watching a concert in Panama City, according to the university.

Prescott, defensive lineman Torrey Dale and backup quarterback Damian Williams were on spring break in Panama City and watching a Waka Flocka Flame concert when they were attacked by an unknown group of people, according to Mississippi State assistant AD for media relations Bill Martin.

The video of the beginning of the incident, including Prescott being kicked in the face, was captured on Instagram (WARNING: Graphic and NSFW).

EliteDawgs.com, a Mississippi State fan site that first reported the story on its message board, posted pictures of Prescott’s wounds, which included a gash on his forehead.

Martin said the assault was unprovoked and that none of the injuries was serious.

Williams confirmed the incident on Twitter and later deleted the tweet, but it was preserved in a screenshot.

Prescott said he was OK.

Prescott, Mississippi State’s starting quarterback, was the Heisman frontrunner for the first half of the season while he led the Bulldogs to a 9-0 start and a No. 1 ranking. The Bulldogs finished the season 10-3.
