Brittney Griner dunks three times in one NCAA tournament game
Of the 33 times a women's college basketball player has dunked during a game, Brittney Griner is responsible for a staggering 18 of them. The Baylor star added three to her total during Tuesday night's victory over Florida State alone, a fitting farewell performance for her final home game in Waco. Up first was a one-handed dunk in transition late in the first half off a nice lead pass. In the second half, Griner had two more dunks within 79 seconds, the first when she shook her defender in the low post and the second off a put-back. Griner finished with 33 points and 22 rebounds as top-seeded Baylor rolled into the Sweet 16 with an 85-47 demolition of the Seminoles.
