Bills' Sean McDermott on Cardinals comeback: 'It's how we play'
The Buffalo Bills only needed one game in the 2024 NFL season to circle those wagons.
Trailing by 17-3 scoreline against the Arizona Cardinals in their season opener, the Bills roared back for a 34-28 win.
It takes both talent and mental toughness to pull that off.
"It's hard to win," Buffalo head coach Sean McDermott said. "It doesn't really matter--who you play, where you play, it's how you play, how we play."
Within the battle was a key swing which was pointed out by quarterback Josh Allen following the win.
Allen noted how, despite a poor performance for much of the first half, Buffalo managed to score a touchdown just before halftime. That cut the score to 17-10.
Then out of the half, another touchdown tied the contest.
"The key was double dipping," Allen said.
