Bills random offensive explosion highlighted by offensive lineman touchdown
The Buffalo Bills started Matt Barkley at quarterback against the New York Jets in Week 10. And this offense clicked on all cylinders in its 41-10 win. The Bills scored 31 points in the first half, including a 28-yard run by LeSean McCoy and a Barkley 7-yard touchdown to … offensive tackle Dion Dawkins.
Barkley played flawless football in the first half, made some great throws, and kept drives alive. His throw to Dawkins proved that the Bills were set on pulling out all the stops to score, and it worked like a charm.
Barkley is Buffalo’s fourth starting quarterback this season. Rookie Josh Allen missed his fourth consecutive game due to an elbow injury, and Derek Anderson sat out due to a concussion. And Nathan Peterman throws too many interceptions to keep Buffalo competitive.
Barkley probably won’t save the Buffalo’s season, but at least the Bills are scoring points with ease. As for the Jets, it’s another low point for head coach Todd Bowles.
