Will the Buffalo Bills give quarterback Josh Allen playing time during the upcoming preseason?

We're not sure. Neither is he.

But Allen is playing the topic pretty politically.

Does he think it will help him?

"It doesn't really make a difference for me at this point in my career," Allen said.

Then Allen added that his "competitive juices" do want him to be out there... even though it's just an exhibition game.

Aside from getting in some reps with new teammates plus Connor McGovern, who is Buffalo's new center, there is not much of a point. Allen is right.

Risking injuries might not be worth the risk and Allen understands that.

Buffalo hosts the Chicago Bears in their preseason opener on Saturday.
