Bills' Mitchell Trubisky out at Steelers due to injury
It was not a day that quarterback Mitchell Trubisky was hoping to have against his former team.
Trubisky, who re-signed with the Buffalo Bills this offseason after previously leaving the team for the Pittsburgh Steelers, was injured against his former team.
Trubisky, who struggled and had an interception in the contest, left the game due to a knee injury the Bills announced.
After scrambling and taking off for a gain of a few yards, the QB stood up and was limping. After that series, the Buffalo coaching staff played it safe and took him out.
It's unclear at the time of posting if Trubisky's removal from the game was precautionary or not.
The recently signed Ben DiNucci replaced Trubisky in the lineup in the second quarter.
Bills Wire will provide updates when information is made available.
