Bills' Josh Allen not concerned about contract compared to other QBs
Once upon a time, the Buffalo Bills made Josh Allen one of the NFL's highest-paid quarterbacks.
That's now a long time ago.
The Bills and their franchise QB agreed to an extension in August 2021. Considering the amount of time that has passed since then, Buffalo’s front office locking up Allen early has made the deal look smarter and smarter. It has aged like a fine wine... for the team.
Allen himself is now only the 13th highest-paid QB in the NFL. There are plenty of names on the rankings of pay days for quarterbacks ahead of Allen that you'd likely think Allen is better than.
Even so, Allen is not concerned about that.
During a training camp appearance on the "Up & Adams" show, Allen downplayed his No. 13 spot. In fact, he even praised his quarterback brethren for their achievements.
Allen also added that he is in no rush to get a new deal done in Buffalo. He said "that time will come when it comes."
Allen's full thoughts can be found in the clip below:
