Bill Belichick shows off his acting chops in new Subway commercials
The New England Patriots losing Tom Brady won’t go down as the most unlikely thing to happen to the team in 2020. Prepare to be surprised, Patriots fans, because Bill Belichick can act.
Belichick, 68, is the latest spokesperson for Subway. The company unveiled two ads featuring Belichick, and he actually has some acting chops.

In the first spot, Belichick approaches a man holding a box of chicken. Belichick only has two lines, but he delivers them in convincing fashion. You have to admit his “really” was perfect.
Belichick doesn’t have any speaking lines in the second ad, which pokes fun at his lack of emotion on the field.

Still, we have to give credit to Belichick. He was pretty good in both spots.
Not the first time Bill Belichick has acted
Perhaps we shouldn’t be surprised by Belichick’s ability. It’s not the first time he’s acted. Belichick briefly appeared on an episode of “Rescue Me” in 2006. He was credited as a “funeral attendee.”
While Belichick’s cameo in “Rescue Me” is weird, it’s not the most random television appearance by an NFL head coach. Remember when Eric Mangini was in an episode of “The Sopranos?”
