The Cincinnati Bengals made some minor housekeeping roster moves ahead of the Week 7 encounter with the Cleveland Browns.

There, the Bengals activated cornerback DJ Ivey from the Reserve/Physically Unable to Perform list, completing his return from last year's season-ending injury.

Before the road game in Cleveland, the Bengals also elevated Trey Hill from the practice squad to the active roster.

Ivey's impending return was one of the reasons the Bengals weren't likely to add outside help via free agency or trades in the wake of Dax Hill's season-ending injury. The Cam Taylor-Britt-DJ Turner-Mike Hilton trio will still start at corner.

Hill is extra, versatile depth, especially if someone like Cody Ford needs to take over at a tackle spot. He'll revert to the practice squad the Monday after the game.
