Bengals reveal new locker room and other Paycor Stadium upgrades
It’s no secret the Cincinnati Bengals have some big renovations planned for Paycor Stadium in the coming years.
The current $39 million allotment is part of a bigger renovation plan to update the 23-year-old stadium.
Some of the purported changes, such as new screens, re-doing the entryway, etc., have yet to be made official.
But on the heels of announcing the new turf playing surface and upgrading more than 12,000 seats, the team has announced some of the big changes coming to Paycor Stadium.

New locker room
Cincinnati’s new locker room, per Hobson, involves new “ceilings, flooring, restrooms, and showers” atop the actual lockers themselves. The target end date is by Week 1 of the season.
Plaza expansion
The Bengals are re-doing the plaza outside Gate D near Elm Street in response to changes in the city itself.
“Because of the changes in the dynamic of the city with the entertainment district down the road, we’re basically tripling the size of the entrance,” stadium managing director Steve Johnson told Hobson. “It allows fans much easier passage in and out of the stadium.”
Gameday upgrades
The Bengals are also taking the time to make upgrades to club seats, concessions and in-stadium presentations (screens).
Playing surface
As already revealed, the team will avoid being the only one in the NFL using a controversial slit film turf field by re-doing the surface.
