Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow used a recent media session to shoot down a couple of questions fans and otherwise have had about his play coming out of that Week 1 disaster against the New England Patriots.

First up? The status of his surgically repaired wrist.

Burrow waved away any concern that his wrist was stopping him from making any type of throws. Specifically, he addressed the constant rolling and stretching of the wrist that cameras have caught and fans have wondered about.

"That's part of ligament injuries," Burrow said. "If you don't move it, you're going to lose it, so I'm always moving it around, keeping it loose, keeping my mobility the way it's supposed to be, so it's going to continue to happen."

Burrow also took the time, though unintended, to swat away the silly social media speculation around footage of how he picked up a water bottle on the sidelines during the Week 1 loss:

Looking back at the film, it seems clear that all of Burrow's passes had nice velocity. The problems were many, including first-game rust that Burrow even admitted to during the interview, highlighted by his self-described "happy feet" as he was too sped up in the pocket at times.

The wrist, though? Not an issue.
