Bengals fans want answers after embarassing loss to Eagles
The Cincinnati Bengals flopped in what could be a season-altering loss to the Philadelphia Eagles in Week 8.
There, the Bengals went down 37-17 after simply being unable to move the football offensively or put up much of a respectable fight defensively in the second half.
Coming out of the game at 3-5, the Bengals are now in a brutal spot.
As such, Bengals fans want answers about how the rest of the season might play out—and what the team might think about the future now that things have fallen apart.
Here is a look at some of the best reactions.
The Bengals haven’t punted, are 9/12 on third down, and trail by 10 points with 13 minutes to play.

You know how hard it is to put together a non-competitive team with an elite QB and elite WR?
It takes rampant incompetence throughout the entire organization— Joel Chandler (@BengalScoutJoel) October 27, 2024

Ownership family that makes money just through this is about to ask season-ticket holders to renew this week without winning a game in their presence this year.

For most franchises, a team with an elite QB and Super Bowl aspirations starting the season 0-4 and home would be time to make some major changes.
I don’t see Bengals ownership doing what needs to be done. No accountability. We are stuck with this.— Blake Jewell (@BlakeJewellNFL) October 27, 2024

I can’t believe I’m trapped with Ryan Day and Zac Taylor as the head coaches of my favorite football teams

We’ve been talking about the need to legitimately invest in the IOL for the entirety of Burrow’s career. We’re half a decade into that career and their IOL can’t run or pass block. That’s an ownership/front office failure of staggering proportions.

Getting beat by one of the biggest bozo HC in the NFL is sad.

The sad truth is that the Bengals Super Bowl window has closed. The best chance to win a championship was 2021-24. Joe Burrow, Ja’Marr Chase and Tee Higgins are playing their final games together. Defense needs to be rebuilt and coaching staff evaluated. Wasted season in 2024.

Backs firmly against the wall, yet to win a game at home, that’s the performance you put out on the field? I got nothing… give me your biggest takeaway from today’s loss to the Eagles…
