The Cincinnati Bengals are roughly one week into training camp and just put on pads for the first time.

Naturally, it's time to look at the 53-man roster.

And so far, we'll find some surprises there when it comes to projecting the final roster by the end of the summer. Position battles at spots like wideout and cornerback have had some interesting developments.

And that's not to mention that literal starting jobs -- such as at cornerback and the one involving first-rounder Amarius Mims -- are up for grabs with notable developments, too.

Rougby one week in, here is a look at how the final 53-man roster could shape up soon.

Quarterback

No shocks here. The Bengals have one of the best backups in the league with Browning.

Running back

Brown will probably get the most snaps by season's end -- he's just too dynamic in the way he can move all round the offense.

Wide receiver

.
.

The real tough call here is Butler. For now, the combo of Iosivas and Burton as the third wideout and Jones and Irwin on special teams is far too important.

Tight end

.
.

There was some question about whether All will be ready to play on the final 53 by the start of the season. So far...that's a yes.

Offensive line

There's no reason to think Trent Brown flops as the starter. For now, he makes the cut on projections. Versatility for the likes of Lee and Ford help them make the cut.

Defensive line

Eleven might seem like a lot -- but the team invested a lot of draft picks in the spot over the last few years. Plus, they need to work overtime in getting create to fill the massive void left by DJ Reader's departure.

The undrafted Casey sneaks on here, which isn't all that shocking after what they paid him.

Cornerback

.
.

Disclaimer: Ivey could end up on the PUP or otherwise as he works back from injury. The undrafted Robinson steals a spot.

Safety

.
.

Safety depth looks like an issue, but keep in mind Dax Hill is always at corner and can come over. So can/has Mike Hilton.

For now, let's say the undrafted McNamara's sheer power gives him the edge over Robbins.
