Chicago Bears do not know what it is like to watch a superstar quarterback.

For as much tradition as the Bears have overall, they haven't seen a truly elite signal-caller in decades. That has probably felt like even longer to some of the franchise's more entrenched fans. The 2024 No. 1 overall pick, Caleb Williams, is obviously hoping to change that.

And before Williams took the field in Week 1 against the Tennessee Titans at home, we saw the powerful energy Bears fans are harboring for their hopeful face of the franchise.

As Williams walked off the sideline for the Bears' first possession, fans in Chicago gave the hyped rookie an emotional standing ovation. Mind you, he hadn't even done anything yet!

If Bears fans are already celebrating Williams before he's done anything, could you imagine what would happen if he actually became one of the NFL's best quarterbacks? I can't fathom it.

Good for Bears fans on an electric Sunday in Chicago.
