Barack Obama leads star-studded list of celebrities, athletes in building to watch UNC-Duke
At 18 years old, Zion Williamson is already getting used to being the biggest name in the building.
That was not the case for Wednesday’s Duke-North Carolina showdown at Cameron Indoor Stadium.
A number of big names showed up for game, none bigger than noted basketball fan and former President Barack Obama, who was met by a shrieking swath of Cameron Crazies who greeted him with high fives before the game.

Obama wasn’t the only celebrity in the building.
ABC 11’s Mark Armstrong was on the beat Wednesday night in Durham, and also spotted baseball Hall of Famer Ken Griffey Jr.

He declined the opportunity to admit he was there as a Duke fan.
Ken Griffey Jr here. Asked him if he’s a Duke man or here for “the event”.
Smiled.

Spike Lee was also there, possibly scouting the next New York Knicks lottery pick.

Actress Hayden Panettiere tweeted from the stands, having apparently snagged one of the high-priced, high-demand tickets for Wednesday’s game.

Duke-North Carolina games are always an event. The addition of Williamson to the mix has taken this year’s matchup to a new level.
