Baltimore Ravens pick CB Nate Wiggins in Round 1 of 2024 NFL Draft. What to know
The Baltimore Ravens selected Clemson CB Nate Wiggins with the 30th pick in the 2024 NFL Draft. Wiggins spent three seasons with the Tigers, earning first-team all-ACC honors in 2023. Here's everything you need to know about Wiggins.
Nate Wiggins scouting report
Wiggins is a lengthy, physical cornerback who led the team in pass deflections in back-to-back seasons. His technique, recovery speed and range makes him an intriguing option in Cover 3 defense, and he has shown solid instincts in reading quarterback and receiver clues. There’s room for improvement in run support and being a willing tackler. He was also susceptible to deep-ball opportunities because of too much cushion in man coverage and late timing to recognize routes.
Nate Wiggins height, weight
Wiggins weighs in at 182 pounds and stands at 6-foot-2. He attended Westlake (Ga.) High School and was born in Atlanta, Georgia.
Nate Wiggins college stats
In three years with the Tigers, Wiggins played in 27 games, recording three interceptions (two returned for touchdowns), two forced fumbles, 24 pass deflections, 60 tackles and one sack.

Wiggins had one of his finest games against North Carolina on Nov. 18, 2023. He saved the Tigers from a touchdown in the first quarter, reaching 22.1 mph to catch running back Omarion Hampton from behind to force a fumble at the goal line. He ended any hopes of a Tar Heels fourth-quarter comeback by jumping the route and intercepting the ball. Against North Carolina in the 2022 ACC Championship, Wiggins recorded a 98-yard pick six for his first career interception return. It is the longest play in ACC Championship history.
Nate Wiggins NFL combine measurables
Wiggins ran the fastest 40-yard dash time among cornerbacks at the NFL Combine with a time of 4.28 seconds. His time is fourth all time among cornerbacks. He complimented that performance with a 36-inch vertical jump and a 10-foot, 7-inch broad jump to remain among the top cornerbacks in the draft class.
