Baltimore Ravens draft picks 2022: Round-by-round selections
Here is a 2022 NFL draft pick-by-pick breakdown for the Baltimore Ravens:
Round 1 (No. 14 overall) - Kyle Hamilton, S, Notre Dame: He can shore up deficiencies at the second and/or third levels. Hamilton can provide coverage, a box presence, blitzing ability and an intimidation factor – and easily toggles between every level of the field based on the versatility he displayed for the Irish. He and newly signed Marcus Williams give Baltimore a sweet new safety combo in a division that will mean constant matchups with Cincy QB Joe Burrow and Cleveland's Deshaun Watson. Many draft observers rated Hamilton as a top-five talent who was undercut by the general positional value of safeties. Draft tracker
Round 1 (25) - Tyler Linderbaum, C, Iowa: After a bit of maneuvering, Baltimore adds last season's Rimington Trophy winner to their offensive line. Though knocked for his short arms, Linderbaum is a plus athlete that might remind some of Eagles center Jason Kelce. Draft tracker
Round 2 (45) - David Ojabo, LB/DE, Michigan: Despite the Achilles tear he suffered at his pro day, his upside is too much to pass up. Ojabo follows Mike Macdonald, the Wolverines defensive coordinator in 2021, back to Baltimore, where he'll play for Jim Harbaugh's brother, John. And a redshirt year would likely benefit Ojabo anyway given he made one tackle as a sophomore in 2020. A native of Nigeria who grew up in Scotland, Ojabo (6-4, 250 pounds) exploded for 11 sacks last season and will eventually bring needed juice to Baltimore's pass rush. Draft tracker
Round 3 (76) - Travis Jones, DT, Connecticut: Coming off his career with the Huskies, when he posted 8½ sacks and 19 TFLs in three seasons, Jones was a standout at the Senior Bowl before the 6-4, 325-pounder tested well at the combine – highlighted by a 4.9-second 40. He'll inject some youth into a D-line still anchored by Calais Campbell. Draft tracker
Round 4 (110, from Giants) - Daniel Faalele, OT, Minnesota
Round 4 (119) - Jalyn Armour-Davis, CB, Alabama
Round 4 (128, from Cardinals) - Charlie Kolar, TE, Iowa State
Round 4 (130, from Bills) - Jordan Stout, P, Penn State
Round 4 (139, compensatory) - Isaiah Likely, TE, Coastal Carolina
Round 4 (141, compensatory) - Damarion Williams, CB, Houston
Round 6 (196, from Dolphins) - Tyler Badie, RB, Missouri
