There's another battle brewing between the two rivals on the recruiting trail. According to Joe Tipton of On3 Sports, Azavier Robinson, a four-star point guard from the Class of 2025, has listed Xavier and Cincinnati in his top 5.

Robinson, who attends Lawrence North High School in Indianapolis also listed his hometown Butler Bulldogs along with Notre Dame and DePaul in his top 5.

Per On3 Sports, Robinson has taken unofficial visits to each of his five finalists and has scheduled an official visit with Xavier from Sept. 14-16.
According to 247Sports, Robinson is tabbed as a four-star prospect and a top 10 player in Indiana for the Class of 2025 and a top 20 point guard in the nation. Robinson trimmed his offer sheet from 21 programs to five.
Robinson was a 2024 Junior All-Star last season. He eclipsed the 1,000-point mark for his prep career was named the MIC and Marion County Player of the Year. Robinson helped lead Lawrence North to a 25-4 record and a Class 4A semistate appearance.
On3 Sports' recruitment prediction machine gives Notre Dame the edge to land the coveted point guard at 26.4%. Xavier clocks in at fourth at 8.6%.
