Atlanta Falcons to hire Zac Robinson, former Oklahoma State QB, as offensive coordinator

The Atlanta Falcons are expected to hire Los Angeles Rams quarterbacks coach/passing-game coordinator Zac Robinson as offensive coordinator, Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network reported on Saturday evening.

Robinson, a 37-year-old former Oklahoma State quarterback, joined the Rams coaching staff in 2019 as an assistant quarterbacks coach. In 2022, the team promoted Robinson to passing-game coordinator/quarterbacks coach.

Since Morris spent the last three seasons in Los Angeles working with Robinson, the pairing makes a lot of sense.

It was also reported that the Falcons will retain special teams coordinator Marquice Williams, who served the last three seasons on Arthur Smith’s staff.

Robinson played in 35 games for OSU from 2006-09, going 610-for-999 passing for 8,317 yards and 66 touchdowns.
