Arizona Diamondbacks reveal new uniforms for 2024 season. Here's what fans are saying
The Arizona Diamondbacks officially released new uniforms for the 2024 season and beyond, and the fans are buzzing all over social media.
It makes sense; as the new threads are essentially exactly what the fans had been asking for. So many fans have wanted more of an incorporation of the beloved older DBacks colors and uniform designs that the club had from 1998 to 2006 with the newer looks that the team has been donning since. To rep DBack tradition along with the current branding of the team that just led to a National League pennant was a terrific idea from President, CEO and General Partner of the DBacks, Derrick Hall.
Hall used feedback from focus groups and surveys to kick this mission in gear, and the team has released four new uniforms that fuse the old with the new. Some of the most popular elements of the DBacks original '98 uniforms that will be coming back are the 'D-Snake' logo on the hats, and the color teal returning as a primary color.
The home uniforms will return to an 'Off-White' color just like the vintage DBack uniforms, the home uniforms will also feature the "A" logo on the front like the vintage DBack uniforms, and the Sedona Red Alternates even spell out "Diamondbacks" across the chest. No DBack uniforms have featured that full wordmark since those 1998 to 2006 beauties. Read the full breakdown of the four different uniforms, and what traditional elements the team is bringing back here.
To nobody's surprise, most of the Grand Canyon State couldn't get enough of the new look on X.
Love the new look! 🔥

Quick #Dbacks uni observations--
- "D-backs" script is gone from all uniforms [good]
- "Diamondbacks" script is back [good]
- Teal becomes more prominent, and is added to the red/black cap [ok]
- The home off-whites with "A" logo resemble blast from the past [good] https://t.co/8E9J8l2Qol— Arizona Diamondbacks | Stats & Info (@DbacksStatsInfo) November 17, 2023

The new jerseys and caps are already available in the team shop at Chase Field, along with some other merchandise from the new branding. They are not fully stocked yet, but they will announce when they are.
Expect what they have to not stay on shelves for too long, as the new look is clearly very popular around the Valley.

There was already tons of excitement around this team, after their improbable playoff run that featured sweeps of teams the Valley is not fond of in the Milwaukee Brewers and Los Angeles Dodgers. Next, they took down the Philadelphia Phillies in the NLCS despite not having home field advantage in the series and of course Game 7.
Doing this in franchise player Corbin Carroll's rookie season, and top pitching prospect Brandon Pfaadt's first season, the future looks promising for Arizona. It now looks in style as well, with upgraded uniforms to add to the new era of DBacks baseball.
