Antonio Brown definitely sounds like he’s trying to get back into the NFL. Brown continued his apology tour Wednesday, attempting to bury the hatchet with Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger.

In an Instagram post, Brown apologizes to Roethlisberger. Brown also tells his former quarterback, “I never realized how good I had it.”

It’s at least the third time in February that Brown has apologized for his behavior. During an interview with ESPN on Feb. 1 Brown apologized to the NFL for his “past behavior.” On Feb. 6, Brown apologized to the Steelers organization “for the distractions” while appearing on 93.7 The Fan in Pittsburgh. In that interview, Brown expressed a desire to return to the team so he could “get it going.”

For nine seasons, Brown and Roethlisberger formed one of the most prolific pairs in football. Every one of Brown’s 74 receiving touchdowns in Pittsburgh came with Roethlisberger under center.

While Brown’s apology tour certainly sounds like a ploy to get back into the NFL, it may not be that easy for the 31-year-old. He still has a number of personal issues and serious allegations to address before he returns to the league — including a rape allegation and an alleged battery incident that occurred at Brown’s house.

Prior to those issues coming to light, Brown was regarded as one of the best — if not the best — receiver of his era. Teams may be tempted to give Brown another chance based on his talent, but he’s going to have to do a lot more than offer up apologies to convince teams he’s turned things around.
