Andretti Autosport rebrands as Andretti Global across all 8 series starting in 2024

Andretti Autosport announced Tuesday the organization will rebrand under the name Andretti Global starting with the 2024 racing season. It comes more than a year after soft-launching the new name for its Formula 1 ambitions.

The change will also see a swap of the longtime Andretti Autosport shield for the new "A" logo of Andretti Global that still incorporates the team's red, blue and white color scheme. The change will come across all eight of Andretti's motorsports properties, including IndyCar, Indy NXT, IMSA, Formula E, Extreme E, Supercars Super Copa and Skip Barber.

Andretti's Formula E team, which won the drivers' championship earlier this summer with Jake Dennis, will be the first to debut the new look with the season-opening race in mid-January in Mexico City.

"I'm proud of what Andretti Autosport has accomplished over the years and all the memories that have come with so many special moments. Just as proud as I am of our past, I'm equally excited about our future," team co-owner, chairman and CEO Michael Andretti said in the team's release. "As we continue to expand and build a global racing institution, our goal is to be engrained in the culture of our fans, teams and partners.

"We are determined to achieve success and confident that there are big things in store for Andretti Global."

Andretti continues to wait on a final decision from the FIA as to its application toward F1's potential grid expansion, though there continues to be serious opposition among the current teams (which do not have any stake in the matter) as well as Liberty Media's officials that control F1's marketing rights and which programs it grants use rights to.

The team also has begun a quiet but purposeful dip into the NASCAR world, with Gainbridge, a longtime Andretti partner run by Dan Towriss, the CEO of parent company Group 1001 and Andretti's co-owner, landing primary sponsorship with Cup team Spire Motorsports as part of a multi-year deal. Andretti explained to IndyStar in July that it was the first step into gauging the potential for Cup team ownership.

Late last year, Andretti took a controlling ownership stake in what had been Wayne Taylor Racing in IMSA, and the team also partnered with Cadillac on its hopeful F1 venture and broke ground on a new massive racing shop in Fishers where it plans to house it all starting in 2025.
