New Orleans Saints running back Alvin Kamara participated in walkthroughs at Tuesday's training camp practice, then sat out the rest of practice. Dennis Allen addressed the absence in his opening statement after practice. According to Allen, this isn't expected to be a big deal.

Allen also said this is something Kamara has dealt with in the past. There wasn't a smidgen of concern in his tone, and his delivery was as laid back as his words were.

His tone suggest it's minor, and because Kamara has dealt with this before, the team is familiar how to deal with it. A day or two of rest is likely all that's in order.

It's training camp. Players are going to deal with little nicks and bruises. Because the team isn't actively game planning for an opponent, you'll see veterans given a day off with as a precaution. That's clearly what this is intended to be, but we'll watch for Kamara's return on Wednesday.
