When scoring the go-ahead run in the seventh inning, the crowd was so loud that Jazz Chisholm "blacked out" as he headed home on Alex Verdugo's RBI single. For Verdugo, it was vindication for getting the start in LF despite his second-half struggles. Verdugo: "This is the time of year everybody wants to play... when the lights are brightest." Chisholm, who has developed a close friendship with Verdugo added, "he's going to show everybody this is his time."
