Alabama basketball's 2024-25 SEC schedule dates revealed
The 2024-25 Alabama basketball team will open its SEC schedule against Oklahoma on Jan. 4, and close the regular season with a three-game stretch in early March against Tennessee, Florida and Auburn, the league revealed Tuesday in release of schedule dates.
Earlier this year, Alabama's SEC home and away opponents were announced, with Auburn, Kentucky and Mississippi State being the only schools the Crimson Tide will face twice.
UA coach Nate Oats, coming off the first Final Four appearance in program history, has also assembled a very challenging non-conference schedule that includes North Carolina, Houston, Purdue, Illinois, Creighton. Expectations are high for a Crimson Tide team that will return key starters in Mark Sears, Grant Nelson and Latrell Wrightsell Jr., as well as promising forward Jarin Stevenson and a strong class of incoming transfers and freshmen.
Alabama will open the season at home against UNC-Asheville on Nov. 4.
