Garrett Wilson's transition to the NFL has been seemingly smooth, immediately becoming one of the New York Jets' top options in the passing game.

For the former Ohio State football first-round draft pick, getting calls from NFL referees is another story.

On a sideline pass from quarterback Mike White in the Jets' 20-12 loss to the Buffalo Bills Sunday, Wilson secured the first down but was hit out of bounds by safety Jordan Poyer.

As the Jets turn to their home matchup with the Detroit Lions, it was a hit Wilson could not shake.

"I ain't got a call all season," Wilson tweeted Monday. "One ref told me, 'This ain't (Ohio) State no more.' Crazy."

Wilson later clarified that this comment happened during the first matchup against the New England Patriots at home Oct. 30.

Wilson finished with six catches on seven targets for 78 yards against the Bills. Through 13 games, the former No. 10 overall pick in the 2022 NFL draft has 63 catches on 101 targets for 868 receiving yards and four touchdowns: two two-touchdown performances against the Cleveland Browns and the Chicago Bears.

For Wilson, it is a continuation for what he did for three seasons at Ohio State, bringing in 2,213 yards and 24 touchdown receptions on 143 catches.

Detroit Lions WR Jameson Williams brings in first NFL touchdown

After Sunday, Wilson, Chris Olave and Jameson Williams each have NFL touchdowns.

After tearing his ACL during the national championship game, Williams, who transferred from Ohio State to Alabama, brought in his first career NFL catch and touchdown in his second game back with the Detroit Lions.

Missing his first target in his first game back against the Jacksonville Jaguars Dec. 4, Williams brought in a 41-yard touchdown pass from quarterback Jared Goff in the first quarter to help the Lions beat the Minnesota Vikings 34-23.

With Ohio State, Williams brought in 15 catches for 266 yards and three touchdowns before exploding for 1,572 receiving yards and 15 touchdowns with the Crimson Tide in 2021.

Wilson, Olave and Williams were each selected in successive picks in the 2022 NFL draft at No. 10-12.
