It certainly didn’t take Aaron Rodgers long to go all in with the New York sports scene.

On Saturday, the former Green Bay Packers quarterback was at a New York Rangers playoff hockey game appearing to be living his best life. The next day, he was courtside for the New York Knicks’ playoff game at Madison Square Garden, chatting it up with Spike Lee, among other A-list celebs.

Rodgers, whose 18-year career with the Packers officially ended last week when he was traded to the New York Jets, said during his introductory news conference Wednesday at the Atlantic Health Jets Training Center that he planned on spending time this offseason getting to know his new city and teammates.

Rodgers picked the right venue — playoff hockey and basketball at Madison Square Garden — to do just that.

The crowd went wild when Rodgers was shown on the Jumbotron during the Rangers’ 5-2 win over the New Jersey Devils in Game 6 of that first-round playoff series. Rodgers attended the game with former Packers-turned-Jets wide receiver Allen Lazard and new teammate Breece Hall, New York’s young running back.

Lazard, who was wearing a Rangers jersey, shared a video on Instagram of he and Rodgers arm-in-arm singing along with the crowd to the team's goal song. Rodgers and Lazard are officially New Yorkers now.

Less than 12 hours later, Rodgers and Lazard were back at MSG for some playoff basketball. It was Game 1 of the Eastern Conference semifinals series between the Knicks and Miami Heat. This time, they were courtside with rapper Jack Harlow. The Knicks showed a brief video montage of Rodgers from his introductory Jets news conference and first practice on the Jumbotron. The crowd gave its approval.

Rodgers was also name-dropped by ESPN sideline reporter Cassidy Hubbarth during her postgame interview with Heat star Jimmy Butler as she likened an outlet pass Kevin Love had to Butler to a Rodgers throw.

While he wasn't wearing a Knicks jersey, the site of Rodgers at MSG certainly has to be a bit strange for those who grew accustomed to seeing him at the Bradley Center and later Fiserv Forum for Milwaukee Bucks games. His celebrity girlfriends at the time — actress Olivia Munn and race car driver Danica Patrick — had also joined him in Milwaukee over the years. He even spent his 39th birthday at a Bucks game in December.

Rodgers was such a fan of the Bucks that he bought a small stake in the franchise in 2018, becoming the first active NFL player to become an NBA owner.

In recent seasons when he attended games, Rodgers was often courtside next to the Edens family. Wes Edens is one of the Bucks' primary owners and his daughter, Mallory, is reportedly dating Rodgers.

Had the Bucks defeated the Heat in the first round of the playoffs, a Milwaukee-New York series would have been enticing for not only a matchup featuring big- vs. small-market franchises but also to see if Rodgers would have attended any of those games.

Regardless, the new Jets quarterback has quickly turned in his cheesehead and any of his Bucks attire for the New York lifestyle. What's next? A Mets and Yankees doubleheader on Monday?
