Aaron Jones injured in second quarter vs. Chargers, leaves Packers fans crushed for popular running back

Green Bay Packers running back Aaron Jones left today's 23-20 win over the Los Angeles Chargers with a knee injury and had to be carted off the field.

The injury happened late in the second quarter with the Packers down 10-7.

He stayed down after gaining 2 yards on a first down and then needed help from Packers staff to return to the sideline as he appeared to be in tremendous pain.

Jones, who missed several games earlier this season with a hamstring injury he suffered in Week 1, put a towel over his face as he was taken to the locker room on a cart. He gave the Lambeau Field crowd a wave as he departed.

Jones said postgame that initial tests showed showed it was not an ACL injury. He's expected to have an MRI on Monday.

The Packers would get a field goal on the drive to tie the game at halftime 10-10.

Packers rookie running back Emanuel Wilson also left game with an injury

Not long after, the Packers also lost rookie running back Emanuel Wilson to a shoulder injury. According to Kassidy Hill of PackersNews, Wilson left the Packers' locker room wearing a sling.

AJ Dillon is the only healthy Packers running back.

The Packers initially said Jones and Wilson were questionable to return but shortly later ruled them out.
