Aaron Boone comments on Yankees bats coming alive with blowout win in Game 4 of World Series to avoid sweep
Yankees manager Aaron Boone said his team did not dwell on the daunting task of coming back from being down 3-0 to the Dodgers, "just find a way to get to tomorrow(Game 5)." Anthony Volpe, Austin Wells and Alex Verdugo provided the spark the led to an 11-4 win. Boone called Volpe's grand slam "huge," after watching Freddie Freeman hit yet another first inning HR to give LA the early lead. Boone: "We'd love to score first and get a lead.. but we're not just going to give up because we fall behind."
