Memphis Tigers basketball is the No. 5 seed in the AAC Tournament, which begins Wednesday in Fort Worth, Texas.

The tournament should be wide open for a surprise winner, as only FAU can feel comfortable in its NCAA Tournament at-large hopes.

USF, UAB, Charlotte and SMU have been good throughout the season, with the Bulls winning the regular season title. But all four will likely need to win this week's tournament to make the NCAA Tournament.

The games in Fort Worth throughout the week lead up to the March 17 championship game, televised by ESPN.
