5 Things to know about the Buffalo Bills before Week 8 showdown

.
.

The Seattle Seahawks will soon be facing off against the Buffalo Bills for a crucial Week 8 showdown. Seattle is flying high off a dominant 34-14 victory over the Atlanta Falcons last week, and the Bills have won their last two games.

I spoke with Nick Wojton of Bills Wire about his thoughts on the team and the impending game. Our questions and his responses are below. It is time for another edition of Behind Enemy Lines!

No. 1 - Buffalo has been the bridesmaid of the AFC but never the bride… thanks to the Chiefs. Do you think this Bills team has what it takes to finally dethrone them?

It's a bit hard to tell this early on, mostly because of their recent acquisition of Amari Cooper. The one thing the Bills really lacked was a top talent around quarterback Josh Allen and now, on paper, they have one. If Cooper can be that steady piece the rest of the season? It could be Buffalo's best chance.

No. 2 - Josh Allen has often been prone to mind numbing turnovers, but he has seemingly cutback on them this year. What has been the reason for this?

Allen is constantly saying he's being more mindful of the turnover issues he's had in the past, so that might be the simple reason why. He would play 'hero ball' more often in the past just trying to make something amazing happen when all was lost and that led to interceptions.

No. 3 - Is there a position group you think the Bills have a direct advantage over the Seahawks?

If we're going to go off of Pro Football Focus, it might be the offensive line. PFF has the Bills at No. 7 and the Seahawks down at 29. In terms of Buffalo's offensive line, they've had a crazy good year in terms of the eye test as well. Their tackle duo of Spencer Brown and Dion Dawkins are both having top-tier seasons protecting Allen in pass protection.

No. 4 - Is there a Seahawk(s) who gives you concern?

While the Bills haven't been terrible against rushing attacks this year, they can be at times in the past. That, combined with linebacker Terrel Bernard being ruled out? Give me Kenneth Walker all day for this one.

No. 5 - Who do you think wins, and why?

I'm going to go with the Seahawks at home, 27-20. This game could be a fun one even with a banged up DK Metcalf. Traveling across the country makes it tougher on the Bills and it feels like they might be due for a loss.
