5 observations from Day 4 of Buffalo Bills training camp
The Buffalo Bills have started their 2024 training camp journey.
The team has packed up and gone down the thruway to St. John Fisher University once again. Sunday marked the fourth day for the Bills out in Rochester.
As usual, there was plenty of action to report on, from what quarterback Josh Allen was doing and how the newcomers, such as second-round rookie Keon Coleman, looked.
With that, here are five quick observations from Day 4 of Bills training camp:
There were injuries
There were a list of injuries at Bills practice that will need to be updated in the coming days. Here's a roundup of players that were reportedly dinged up via various reports on Sunday:
James Cook excused
James Cook was not at practice. However, there is no need to be concerned about the running back. The Pro Bowler had an excused absence, according to multiple reports from the workout.
Josh Allen balled
Quarterback Josh Allen has been cooking at training camp this offseason. On Sunday, it looked like the reports on his strong play was even more impressive than usual. Allen was connecting with plenty of targets, including tight end Dalton Kincaid and Coleman. A roundup:
Camp heats up
Bills camp got heated for the first time this summer. That didn't take long. As usual, we have offense against defense on both occasions.
Naturally, these fights will occur. Guys are fighting for jobs and are very competitive. It happens. Here were the reported dust ups:
Another one for Keon
In his first days with the bright lights and eyes on him... Coleman is delivering. He made another huge play on pass from quarterback Josh Allen... right in the corner of the end zone. He's potentially looking more and more like a No. 1 receiver, or at least decent replacement for Stefon Diggs, by the day:
