The reigning Offensive Player of the Year has missed the first half of the season due to an Achilles injury. Following his long absence, McCaffrey is set to return on Sunday against the Bucs. McCaffrey is still listed as questionable, but Shanahan confirmed the plan was to activate him from the injured reserve on Saturday before playing the Bucs.
49ers HC Kyle Shanahan said RB Christian McCaffrey is “good to go” for Sunday’s game vs. Tampa despite the team listing him as questionable due to his calf and Achilles injuries.

Nick Bosa injury update
The star pass rusher has been dealing with a hip pointer injury. Bosa has been limited during practice for most of the week due to the injury. Shanahan said he's not sure how much Bosa will play on Sunday against the Bucs.
If Bosa is limited, Leonard Floyd and Robert Beal Jr. could see an increased role in the 49ers' pass rush.
