Will the New Orleans Saints be sellers at the NFL trade deadline after all? Both general manager Mickey Loomis and head coach Dennis Allen have pushed back on that suggestion, but if the right offer presents itself almost anyone could be available. That's true for any team. That the Saints are a long ways away from reentering the playoff picture means they could be willing to cut a deal and turn at least one eye to next year.

If so, Marshon Lattimore is clearly their most compelling trade asset. The 28-year-old cornerback has been dealing with a recurring hamstring injury after an offseason full of trade speculation. Teams are calling the Saints about him before Tuesday's NFL trade deadline (at 3 p.m. CT), but who could be in the mix? Here are four possible landing spots:

Kansas City Chiefs

Let's start with the team that's been reported to be in contact with the Saints on a possible Lattimore trade. Kansas City is all-in on winning a third consecutive Super Bowl, and Lattimore would be an upgrade for their depth chart. It's worth noting the Chiefs own the Tennessee Titans' third-round draft pick, which right now slots in at No. 66 overall. That could be a valuable asset as part of a larger package, but the Saints should demand more.

Washington Commanders

The Commanders have been one of the surprises of the season through the first half, and Jayde Daniels' team has their eyes set on the playoffs. There are a couple of reasons to think a trade could make sense here. Washington is reportedly looking to add a cornerback, and Lattimore would be a great fit in Dan Quinn's defense. The Saints already cut a deal with this front office to acquire defensive tackle John Ridgeway before the season started. Washington also owns the Miami Dolphins' third-round pick, which would fall at No. 73 overall if the draft started today. That could be a big piece in a trade package with other assets.

Baltimore Ravens

Did you know the Ravens lead the league in passing yards allowed (2,331)? They're also tied for the second-most touchdown passes given up (17). But they're 5-3 anyway. Adding a playmaker like Lattimore -- and reuniting him with his old teammate Marcus Williams -- could get their secondary back on track and ready for the playoffs. Baltimore doesn't own any extra early-round picks, but they're poised to receive multiple compensatory selections that could make it easier to accept trading a second or third rounder.

Detroit Lions

The Lions feel like a long-shot given their 6-1 record and few early-round picks (they only pick twice in the first 120 selections), but you never know. There are a ton of familiar faces in Detroit including Lattimore's old coach Aaron Glenn, and the Lions secondary has quietly run hot and cold despite their strong record. Lattimore could be the piece that sets them apart from other playoff hopefuls. While Detroit needs a pass rusher more than another corner, you could make the argument that better coverage could create more opportunities for the defensive line to pressure the quarterback.
